Always scan your Extracare Card at the "magic coupon machine" when you go to CVS. Just keep scanning till it tells you that you cannot scan anymore for that day. You never know what coupon may pop out! Sometimes I even get coupons for free stuff or some extracare bucks (ECB)!
The difference between CVS and Walgreens is if you are buying only one item you can use your Extracare Bucks (ECBS) along with a coupon. At Walgreens you can only use one coupon or reward per item you are buying. The only time you can stack coupons at Walgreens is if you are using a Walgreen coupon from their ads or Walgreen coupon book and a manufacturer coupon or Register Reward (RR). This is really the only difference I have found between the two stores.
